Corinne's Ideas On What A Polar Ice Cap Is

My reading follow up for week eight

For reading this week my group read this article: What Is a Polar Ice Cap?

The new ideas I have now I’ve read this text are:

  1. Give everybody free solar panels.
  2. Turn off all lights when not using them
  3. If you have a piece of paper and someone draws on it don’t throw it in the trash, use it again.
  4. Bike or scooter to school
  5. Bus to work
  6. Don’t smoke
  7. Don’t pollute the air
  8. If you see rubbish, pick it up.

I now better understand what polar ice caps are. They are dome shaped layers of ice. They are found near
the south pole and the north pole.

  2. I like how you told me what to do to help save polar ice caps and I think that the polar ice caps are melting because people are wasting food, throwing out plastic bottles instead of reusing them, smoking, lighting fireplace's when it's not that cold, polluting the air and making electric cars more extensive. And I'll try to fix this. -Max F
